Progress continues as our Dream Home acquires a roof and more.
NOTE: People have been asking to follow our progress as Thor and I pursue our quest for our dream home with sunsets over the Salish Sea. So starting with my post of 5/21/22, we set out.
My last update was December 10, and a lot has happened in the meantime. The framers have been busy getting the walls up, interior and exterior.
We love the way the great-room windows frame the view over the Salish Sea.
Bear dog and his friend JJ checked out the view from the dining room toward the planned deck.
I’m posting my complete blog entries on my own author website at www.sarastamey.com, where you can finish this episode and enjoy all the accompanying photos. Sara’s office aerie is beautiful but how about that shop? A 20×20 foot box just waiting to be filled with tools and sand paper and random pieces of wood. Be still my heart!
Yes! I’m not sure we will be able to wait until spring.
Holy cow that really is a dream home! And beginning to take shape!!!
Thanks, Sherwood! It’s been a long time coming….
