Linda Nagata’s Going Dark a John W. Campbell Memorial Award Finalist

Going Dark - Saga Press editionBook View Cafe member Linda Nagata’s novel Going Dark is a finalist for the 2016 John W. Campbell Memorial Award, which honors the best English-language science fiction novel published in the prior year.

Going Dark is the third volume of The Red trilogy, a high-tech, near-future science fiction series. The first book in the series, The Red: First Light, was also a Campbell award finalist.

Going Dark is published by Saga Press, with a United Kingdom ebook edition by Mythic Island Press LLC. The audio edition is published by Audible.

The award will be given during the Campbell Conference which, this year, will be part of MidAmeriCon II, the 74th World Science Fiction Convention, in Kansas City, Mo. The awards ceremony is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, Aug. 18.
