As it turns out, I haven’t been much on blogging this past month or more–not since I lost Rena Beagle. Actually, almost two months now–but I had some blogs saved up, so it hasn’t been truly evident.
Some things just take the wind out of you.
But the monsoons have briefly visited our neck of the southwestern woods, bringing with them some spectacular views as well as boy Beagles who are no longer entirely dusty. And it brought to mind a blog I wrote last year at this time, because…well, pretty much the same views! So here you are, and I hope you enjoy the rain as much as I did.
On occasion, in the middle of an incredibly busy busy-ness, nature stages something so spectacular that you either sit up and take notice, or you regret it. Forever. Even if you are supposed to be working on production for LYNX DESTINY.
Today, it was a storm that loomed for hours to the northwest of us, until it finally descended with intense short-lived vigor…to the northwest of us.
The southeast still pretty much thought it was a sunny day.
So I went on Rainbow Alert. Double Rainbow, even…
Now, back to LYNX DESTINY. But I’m pretty sure that our hero Kai would have dropped what he was doing to watch this one, too.
Doranna’s quirky spirit has led to an eclectic and extensive publishing journey across genres. Beyond that, she hangs around outside her Southwest mountain home with horse and beagles who compete in agility, obedience, and tracking.
She doesn’t believe in mastering the beast within, but in channeling its power. For good or bad has yet to be decided…
Doranna’s ongoing releases include Nocturne paranormals and joyful new indie efforts–like the special BVC release of the Changespell Saga, and reader favorites like Wolverine’s Daughter and A Feral Darkness. Whee!
Not coincidentally, Doranna’s latest release at BVC has DOGS in it!
