Amidst the upheavals coming to a boil in the U.S. and elsewhere, join Thor and me for a peaceful breather as we bathe in Nature’s beauty.
As we in the U.S. brace for more conflict and more blatant violations of our laws and Constitution by our would-be dictator, I cheer the weather prediction of thunderstorms and rain on the con-man-in-chief’s parade today. If, like me, you could use moments of peace to sustain you, join Thor and me on one of our nature walks in our lush Pacific Northwest. Springtime here explodes with green and new growth.

Very close to our new home is the lovely Nature Trail at Birch Bay State Park. May brings rich carpets of False Lily-of-the-Valley. There is nothing false about their beauty! This year, our newly-adopted pup Reo joined us in the contemplative walk. Studies have shown the health benefits of even a weekly walk among trees, so I hope you are able to find such refuges. More than just the body, they feed the spirit.
