Our own Phyllis Irene Radford celebrated the publication of her 50th book with a party at Orycon 44, the oldest SF convention in Oregon. It was a grand occasion that involved costumes and of course books!

The convention scene in the Northwest took a hit during the Covid years, but now it seems to be coming back. It’s delightful to see so many friends and fans!

And one more, with our own Diana Pharaoh Francis!

That 50th book, the number includes 4 collections of short fiction and 2 non fiction books, is “Family Bedrock” by Irene Radford. It’s set in the same world as my Tess Noncroire books and Tess makes a cameo appeaarnce. You can find it here at BVC https://bookviewcafe.com/book/family-bedrock/
You know of course that the reason there have been no validated demon sightings in 50 years is that they are all hanging out at SF/F conventions winning costume prizes. (keep those tentacles hidden, Brenda, they are a dead giveaway.)
