No. Manuscripts sent to us will not be read or returned. Book View Café offers only books by BVC members.
Membership in Book View Café is limited to authors who have been published by traditional, advance-and-royalty paying print publishers. Members are expected to volunteer for work that’s appropriate to their skills. Candidates must be approved by a majority of the current membership. To provide you with access to our work in electronic form, to give you a wider selection of fiction from some of your favorite authors than you’ve had before, and to provide us a more direct link with our readers.

Yes. The ebook might be the author’s work brought back into print, or new work available exclusively from BVC. Use the top menu to browse authors and genres, or use the SEARCH field.
Add as many books as you want to your shopping cart. When you’re ready to buy, click the “checkout” link on your shopping cart. (There’s another checkout link on the top navigation bar, and also at the top of the right-hand sidebar.) You’ll see a list of the items you’re about to purchase. Next click the yellow “Checkout with PayPal” button.
You’ll be taken to PayPal to complete the payment process. Clicking the PayPal button allows you to pay via PayPal or credit/debit card. You do not need a PayPal account to buy BVC ebooks.
When you return to the Café, you’ll see a receipt page. Look for the DOWNLOAD links. There will be one for each book that you bought. Click the DOWNLOAD link to save your ebook file. Be sure to download all your books.
You’ll get a copy of your receipt in email. Please save it, as it will allow you to come back to BVC to re-download your books.
EPUB and MOBI. Some books are also available as PDFs. The B&N Nook, the Sony eReader, and many other devices use the EPUB format, while the amazon.com Kindle uses MOBI. Most computers can display PDFs. Several ebook display apps are available for computers and smart phones. Please see “Reading BVC Ebooks.”
We accept all major credit cards. You do not need a PayPal account to buy our books.

We don’t want to use DRM (Digital Rights Management: copy protection), which none of us like, so we’re choosing to trust our readers. However, if any of the above happens too much, we are not going to be able to afford to continue this service.
