Ursula K. Le Guin

The members of Book View Cafe are heartbroken to report that Ursula K. Le Guin has died at the age of 88.

In addition to her many works and accomplishments, she was a founding member of Book View Cafe. She also contributed many delightful posts to this blog.

    Heartbroken to hear this news. A Wizard of Earthsea was the novel that got me into fantasy and every time I re-read it I got the same feelings of joy and excitement that I’d felt originally.
