Writing Fears…Puttin’ ‘Em to Good Use

First it’s the “I’ll never finish this” fear, then it’s the “No one will like it.” This graduates (once you do finish) to “I’ll never be published,” and after that first book is out to “I’ll never be published again,” and finally back (after you get that book published) to “I’ll never finish this.”

Fears. We all have them, hide them, sometimes face them. But what I’ve found works really great is to use them. That’s right, they actually can be good for something (other than keeping you awake at three AM). Continue reading
